SO much FUN!!!

Mike & I had so much fun on our get-away trip to San Antonio!! We didn't really have much of a plan but we ended up packing so many things into the few days we were there and had such a blast!

On our way (well, a little out of the way but well worth it), we stopped at two different wineries in Marble Falls & another in New Braunfels. We enjoyed the amazing scenery, hills, vines of grapes, live music and of course we enjoyed the wine that we had during the tasting sessions. Delish!!!











We L-O-V-E-D the bed & breakfast that we stayed at. The house was built in 1908 and had amazing architecture & wood work throughout the house. The owners were so sweet and very hospitable--I highly recommend it! It was very close to the Riverwalk, which was very convenient as we spent lots of time there.

Here are a few more pics from the weekend including lunch at a wine bar and the River, and of course me with Oprah (I spotted her at the Wax museum)! hehe.















We also went to the Comedy Club, Howl at the Moon (dueling piano bar), many great restaurants, and also did the boat tour down the river.

Sooo, now we are home and are heading back to work tomorrow. UGH!! It was SO nice to not think about work for many days in a row!! Lastly, here is the Thank You card I just made for the owners of the bed & breakfast, I think they'll appreciate it! :o)

VaCAAAATION!!

I'm counting down the days for Michael and I to head to San Antonio this weekend! This is our 1st vacation of the year. We usually we don't wait this long--we tend to spread them out all throughout the year. Anyway, it's just a short drive away but we are totally excited about it! Just to get away...

We are staying at a Bed & Breakfast that is located within walking distance to the River Walk. From the pics online the place looks very relaxing, clean and romantic...just what we were going for!! Here is our room/bed...



We don't really have any set plans--I think we are just going to wing it...here are a few ideas that we might do while we are there...

FUn!!!

This weekend was great. Friday after work, a friend & I went to another friends house to visit with her & her sweet baby. We had girl talk for a couple of hours, it was lots of fun!! Whoop!
Saturday was lazy day--Mike made a late breakfast and we lounged all day. That night we met up with with friends & friends of friends for dinner and drinks (GREEN beer) in celebration of St. Patty's Day. It was a blast. We slept in on Sunday (again, hehe) and then went to look at houses...again. I think I'm in love with the idea of a new home. I LOVE our house that we have now and it's still so new, so we are debating to build again or wait a few more years. We'll see...


Leave it to Mike & I to wear BLACK at the St. Patty's celebration. Whoops! (At least I have my green sash/scarf thingy.)

Prayer Request

As tears run down my face, I'm requesting that you pray for my sweet blogger friend, Mimi. She is such a sweet person and a beautiful woman of God. She has recently lost her precious baby--Mason. I pray for multitudes of strength, hope and love for her and her family.
